Our physical therapists evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions in patients of all ages. Using the latest in treatment protocols and modalities, our therapists are dedicated to the well-being and timely recovery of our patients. We provide direct one-on-one care and focus on clearly communicating the diagnosis and expectant recovery. Our therapists work closely with our physicians to create a team approach tailored for each patient's specific needs. From the high school athlete trying to return to their sport, to the weekend athlete trying to stay in shape or the elderly patient trying to maintain a healthy quality of life, our facility offers the best in experience and dedication to help people achieve their goals.
Services Provided
After being referred for physical therapy, each patient receives a comprehensive evaluation by one of our licensed physical therapists. An individualized treatment program is then developed by the therapist based upon the recommendations from the referring doctor and the findings of the evaluation. A plan of care is established to help gain strength, mobility, flexibility, range of motion, decrease pain and ultimately return to full function. Our therapists maintain continuous communication with the referring doctor regarding the patient's current progress.
The Staff
Our therapists are highly trained in all aspects of orthopedic injuries and dysfunctions. They are actively involved in continuing education as well as teaching at local community functions and collegiate settings. Our staff also includes licensed physical therapy assistants (PTAs) who are here to assist the physical therapists in implementing the plan of care. They are an intricate part of the Physical Therapy team and have extensive knowledge in the areas of therapeutic exercise, functional activities and modalities (i.e. ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
