Billing & Insurance

Participating Providers.

Patients may choose to see a participating provider or non-participating provider for medical services. If you choose a non-participating provider or non-network provider, you will likely pay a higher share of the cost of your medical care.

Co-Pays and Deductables.

All co-pays and deductibles are your responsibility. Co-pays are due at the time of service and deductibles will be billed to you by our office.

Due to the increasing costs in providing healthcare insurance, many employers are now choosing to offer their employees benefits which now include a higher deductible than patients have been accustomed to in the past.

Insurance Plans.

Our physicians are participating providers for numerous insurance plans (see below). We accept Workers' Compensation and Medicare. We will gladly try to answer any questions related to your insurance, but insurance plans vary considerably, and we cannot predict or guarantee what part of our services will or will not be covered.

If we participate with your insurance company, all services performed in our office and at the hospital will be submitted to your insurance. All co-insurance and deductibles are your responsibility and will be billed to you by our office.

If we do not participate with your insurance company, we will bill your insurance carrier as a courtesy to you. We do not accept payment from them as payment in full for services performed. Any balances not covered by the insurance company become your responsibility.

Good Faith Estimates. We will provide Good Faith Estimates to self-pay patients. Click here for further information. For elective surgery cases, we will collect your deductible prior to the surgery.
